04 The Story So Far

Kindergarten

The iPad Wallpaper Hack

I figured out how to change the school iPad wallpaper permanently. To this day no one will ever know how I managed to permanently set an iPad wallpaper. On another note, I also figured out the password to download any app I wanted, as well as figuring out how to FaceTime all teachers connected to the school's iCloud domain.

2nd Grade

Chromebooks & Rogue Emailing

My school switched from iPads to Chromebooks — and unlike everyone else, I made sure to try to open every door possible. I bypassed the blocking system, learned every keyboard shortcut to troll people, found teachers' emails, created my first personal email account, and figured out how to illegally add it to my Chromebook.

3rd Grade

The First Tech Suspension

I started screwing with Chrome Crosh, found a way to open blocked websites, then went on a fake hacking website instead of doing my work. The teacher thought it was real. Explaining what happened made things worse — I ended up in the principal's office.

4th Grade

The Start of My Tech Obsession

Everything changed this year. I started learning about hardware, software, online safety, and data backups. My teacher let me learn and teach him about his new Smartboard and the school spyware. This was the moment it became more than just messing around.

5th Grade

Post-Pandemic Weird Year

Nothing is weirder than going back to school after a global pandemic. Despite masks and changed attitudes, I was still getting pulled out of class to help teachers I didn't even know with their tech. I also started designing websites and games.

6th Grade

The Chill Year

Didn't focus much on tech — focused on enjoying the last year before middle school. Made so many memories. Sometimes you just need to breathe.

7th Grade

The Wake-Up Call

The worst year of school. I can't go into detail, but anything that could go wrong did. This was the year that permanently changed the way I think. I promised to only use my skills for good. I also met my best friend Vincent — who later helped me start my businesses.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

What is "Aimless"?

The idea is that there isn't a single idea; there are infinite ideas that come together to reach a single goal. The concept is to Aimlessly Create any idea(s) that you come up with in hopes that something pays off.

For example, I created a review platform for mod makers of a video game. Did anyone ask for it? No. Does anyone use it? No. However, I still made it, and I am proud of it. Why? Because it was my idea, and eventually one of these ideas will pay off.
